Dr. Patrick L. Wooden, Sr., one of the most respected pastors, will be releasing a new solo album called "STANDING IN YOUR PRESENCE" on January 22, 2013 through the God First Music label. The album was recorded with the Upper Room Sanctuary Choir and features songs of inspiration, expectation, and transformation proclaiming that "God Is In Charge." It combines COGIC style, strong vocals, and masterful production. The album will be available in stores and online on January 22, 2013.

Patrick L. Wooden, Sr. to release new album, STANDING IN YOUR PRESENCE on God First Music label January
22, 2013.
STANDING IN YOUR PRESENCE is Upper Room’s first solo album and features the Upper Room Sanctuary Choir
under the direction of C. Paige “Rocky” Raeford. This melodic collaboration projects songs that ignite true
praise and worship. The album offers a flawless combination of COGIC style, strong vocals and
groundbreaking mastering arrangements and production.
The album loudly proclaims themes of inspiration, expectation, and transformation to confirm that “God Is
In Charge.” The opening title track, "Praise the Lord" starts the albums’ infectious energy that will soon have
choirs and churches singing along. The live recording provides a church experience guaranteed to give
the listener a new favorite tune. Album cuts "Standing in Your Presence," and upbeat “The Race” continues
the theme of “Nothing But Praise” throughout the project.
STANDING IN YOUR PRESENCE is a smooth blend of traditional and contemporary sound, achieving a
definitive release from one of Gospel music’s up and coming leaders. Dr. Wooden continues to serve as the
Superintendent of the Greater Central District in the Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction of the Church of
God in Christ and Pastors of The Upper Room Church of God in Christ.
