Ali Manouchehrizadeh chose to attend California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) for his freshman year of college. He selected Cal Poly because it has his desired major of architecture in a small, public university setting close to his home. Some examples of architecture classes he plans to take are Architectural Engineering 211, 212, and 221. He also plans to join the football and basketball teams and architecture clubs like Alpha Rho Chi to meet other architecture majors.

2. WHY I CHOSE
CAL POLY
✴ Reason #1: I prefer a small, public school in a suburban
setting.
✴ Reason #2: I believe that Cal Poly is right for me because
it has the major Architecture (BArch, BA/BS, MArch,
MA/MS, PhD)
✴ Reason #3: Due to the fact that Cal Poly is the closest to
home, in my opinion, I think Cal Poly would be a great
university for me because it's top major is architecture.
Unfortunately, its cost is a little over my budget.
