21. Sue Vowler is recognised as one of the UK’s foremost experts in Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices(P3O®) and is the lead author of Cabinet Office P3O® Guidance, launched in October 2008. She has worked with a variety of organisations to design, establish and run P3O offices to ensure delivery success within an organisation’s local culture and structure. Sue feedback : The survey feedback mirrors the feedback I've had in person over the last 3 years ( is it really 3 years - where did that time go....) in particular praise for Appendix F, which was the first bit of the guidance I committed to paper, emptying my brain of the practical activities of all kinds of P3 Office. The P3O world is moving on, I've seen an upswing in the number of portfolio offices being developed, but more recently (last 6 months) a surge in interest in centres of excellence and mentorng / coaching roles. Its also great to see an adoption of P3M3 in assessing maturity alongside the roll out of P3O in organisations and a focus on adding value. Keep on professionalising what we do and spreading the word on P3O. www.best-management-practice.com www.p3o-officialsite.com
