Projeto luminotécnico e melhor custo-benefício levaram

reduzir o consumo de energia no terminal
Quando a LEDSTAR® assumiu a tarefa de desenvolver o projeto
luminotécnicoparaaáreaexternadoTerminaldeContêineresdeParanaguá
(TCP), o cenário era de baixa luminosidade, alto consumo de energia e
luminárias já bastante depreciadas. O primeiro passo foi verificar qual seria
a melhor forma de viabilizar o projeto de modernização.
O desafio de obter eficiência energética com a iluminação em LED foi pro-
posto para área externa, com o desenvolvimento do projeto luminotécnico
e o melhor custo-benefício. A LEDSTAR® realizou levantamento técnico,
estudos luminotécnicos e fornecimento de produtos. Foram contemplados,
ainda,enquadramentonasnormastécnicasvigenteseviabilidadefinanceira.
A redução de carga foi de 67% com a substituição das luminárias de vapor
metálico de 1.000W instaladas em grupos de 18 unidades em cada poste de
35 metros por luminárias LEDSTAR® HIGH POLE de 500W. Por tratar-
-se de um produto mais eficiente, foram necessárias apenas 12 unidades em
cada poste para atender o fluxo luminoso adequado.

Lighting design project and better cost-benefit ratio were the
factors that led to the choice of LEDSTAR® to modernize the
external area and reduce energy consumption in the Terminal
When LEDSTAR® took on the task of developing the lighting design project
for the external area of the Paranaguá Container Terminal (TCP in Portu-
guese), the area had low levels of lighting and high energy consumption, and
the lighting fixtures were outdated. The first step was to determine the best
way to make the modernization project feasible.
The challenge of obtaining energy efficiency with LED lighting was proposed
for the external area, with the development of the lighting design project and
the best cost-benefit ratio. LEDSTAR® conducted a technical survey and
lighting design study, and supplied the products. Compliance with the regula-
tions, and the financial feasibility, were also taken into consideration.
An energy reduction of 67% was achieved by replacing the 1,000W metal va-
por lamps, arranged in groups of 18 units on each 35-meter pole, with 500W
LEDSTAR® HIGH POLE lights. Because it is a more efficient product,
only 12 units were needed on each pole, to produce the required output.
