Madhu Kumar

Dr. Kumar completed his undergraduate studies in chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Pennsylvania. At the University of Pennsylvania, he pursued research on BRAF mutations in melanoma and lung cancer and on DNA copy number changes that occur with cancers of the neck and head. A Vagelos Scholar of Molecular Life Sciences, he received the Department of Chemistry’s 2004 Priestley Prize. He subsequently completed PhD work in biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received a Teresa Keng Graduate Teaching Prize. Dr. Madhu Kumar has professional experience as scientific advisor with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati.
