Kubair Shirazee discusses agile principles and how to implement an agile approach. Some key principles of agility include keeping processes simple, planning but not blindly following plans, embracing change, failing fast to fix problems early, and using metrics to measure outcomes. When adopting agile, companies should obey the principles without being rigid, and emphasize innovating, experimenting, adapting, and inspecting results. The best way to implement agility may differ for each company.

Being Agile
…What does it mean?
Ability to move quickly and easily; nimbleness.
Ability to think and draw conclusions quickly.
To be nimble one has to train the body and mind..
train for BETTER COORDINATION
(communication)
… and it is no different for a TEAM
5. @Kubair
1. Keep it simple.
Projects are complex, keep your processes simple.
Agility...
4. Inspect and Adapt.
Stop doing what you’re doing, review what you’ve done, and see if it’s still what you should
be doing and if you can do it better.
2. Planning Is Useful. Blindly Following Plans Is Stupid.
When detailed plans meet reality, they fall apart.
3. Change or Die.
Rigid predictability, will bring only failure.
5. Fail Fast So You Can Fix Early.
Create visible value that can be inspected at short intervals. Work that does not produce
real value is madness.
6. Metrics, metrics and measurement!
If you can not put a number to it (metrics) why are you doing it? to produce without value is
madness.
