3. PREAMBLE
On world wide every one is concerned of immunity
and how to raise it.
During the Covid -19 pandemic, an over consciousness has
been developed globally and options of vaccine have been
considered as an ultimatum. But we do not know the
protection covered out of it.
Surprisingly, an alternative is already cultivated in
ancient days in the light of Vyadhikshamatwa,
Vyadhibala, Physiological mask against infection,
Dinacharya, Ratricharya, Rutucharya etc.
4. WHEN ? IMMUNITY IS CONSIDERED TO
BE ESSENTIAL
Adequate immunity is essential for every body in all age and
mostly during breakdown of contagious illness. All together four
factors have been considered under endemic or pandemic
diseases. They are:-
VAYU
DESHA
KALA
5. The Cause is Bhutanu:-
् )
Let us discuss aimof Ayurveda:-
्
8. This includes 50% aim diverted at protection of health of a healthy
person and rest 50% to treat the ill. To accomplish there must be
some rules prescribed for health custodians, how to lead their
practice . it is documented as:-
10. Further said by Vagbhata
To explain- the views of Bhavamishra the duty of a Vaidya should
be to look after the well being of a common man
adoptions/restoring the due/permissible activities prescribed under
Dinacharya, Rtricharya and Ritucharya so as to immunize the body
to remain fit. Discussing the guidelines it is to know the details of
immunity and its contributing factors.
12. Immunity in Ayurveda is termed as BYADHIKSHYAMATWO or
VYADHIPRATYANIKA SHAKTI.
It is just like a cover or shield. It saves us from
various disease.
Around us there are many virus, bacteria like TB,
Influenza, Respiratory fever, Rhinitis, Pneumonia, Flu,
etc. They usually attack by droplet infection.
In such events the immunity present in the body destroy
the toxins liberated by virus. Concisely the body
immunity decreases the strength of the disease and arrest
creation of disease.
The Rishis have described the ways to prevent diseases
and mentioned the infectious disease along with the
means of contact.
14. MEANS OF CONTACT
The infected male female, Body contact, act of respiration,
Food contact, sleep together, Sharing beds and cushions,
clothes, garlands are the probable reason under contact.
Skin origin diseases, Febrile on set, Emaciation, Eye diseases
have been identified under contagious diseases. They have a
tendency to spread through contact. This is also called
Bhutabhisanga.
16. KALAJA BALA :
ADANA KALA AGANEYA UTTARAYANA
SISHIRA - Pausha + Magha
VASANTA – Phalguna + Chaitra

17. VISARGA KALA SOUMYA DAKHINAYANA
VARSA - Asadha + Sravana
SARAD – Bhadrava + Aswina
HEMANT – Kartika + Margashira
(It gives Soumyansa + strength. Madhura, Amla and Lavana are
valavan . )
During Adana kala – Decrease of strength .
During Visarga kala – Increase of strength .

19. Considering the natural or autonomous variability in
immunity status, there is description of guide lines
according to season in lieu of food habit and lifestyle so

pillar of human body such as AHARA, NIDRA AND
BRAMHACHARYA.
29. All cells are made up of food particles and diseases are thus
proportionate with intake of food. Non conducive food invites
illness.
30. Agni digests food and in absence digest dosha, absence of
dosha it digest dhatu and in absence of dhatu it affects prana or
the life force.
Also said-
The food particles grown to the locality are best suited to the
persons belonging to that locality.
