On world wide every one is concerned of immunity
and how to raise it.
During the Covid -19 pandemic, an over consciousness has
been developed globally and options of vaccine have been
considered as an ultimatum. But we do not know the
protection covered out of it.
Surprisingly, an alternative is already cultivated in
ancient days in the light of Vyadhikshamatwa,
Vyadhibala, Physiological mask against infection,
Dinacharya, Ratricharya, Rutucharya etc.
4. WHEN ? IMMUNITY IS CONSIDERED TO
Adequate immunity is essential for every body in all age and
mostly during breakdown of contagious illness. All together four

5. The Cause is Bhutanu:-
Let us discuss aimof Ayurveda:-

some rules prescribed for health custodians, how to lead their
practice . it is documented as:-

To explain- the views of Bhavamishra the duty of a Vaidya should
be to look after the well being of a common man
adoptions/restoring the due/permissible activities prescribed under
Dinacharya, Rtricharya and Ritucharya so as to immunize the body

immunity and its contributing factors.
12. Immunity in Ayurveda is termed as BYADHIKSHYAMATWO or
It is just like a cover or shield. It saves us from
Around us there are many virus, bacteria like TB,
Influenza, Respiratory fever, Rhinitis, Pneumonia, Flu,
etc. They usually attack by droplet infection.
In such events the immunity present in the body destroy
the toxins liberated by virus. Concisely the body
immunity decreases the strength of the disease and arrest
creation of disease.
The Rishis have described the ways to prevent diseases
and mentioned the infectious disease along with the
means of contact.

Skin origin diseases, Febrile on set, Emaciation, Eye diseases
have been identified under contagious diseases. They have a
tendency to spread through contact. This is also called
16. KALAJA BALA :

(It gives Soumyansa + strength. Madhura, Amla and Lavana are

During Visarga kala – Increase of strength .
19. Considering the natural or autonomous variability in
immunity status, there is description of guide lines
according to season in lieu of food habit and lifestyle so
as to remain healthy and fight against disease. Sastra
also recommends proper Dinacharya and Ratricharya.

28. Food –
Food has a specific role to enhance immunity .
Let us discuss the point of Aahara here.
Food is considered to be one under three
pillar of human body such as AHARA, NIDRA AND
29. All cells are made up of food particles and diseases are thus
proportionate with intake of food. Non conducive food invites
30. Agni digests food and in absence digest dosha, absence of
dosha it digest dhatu and in absence of dhatu it affects prana or
the life force.
The food particles grown to the locality are best suited to the
persons belonging to that locality.
Let us now go deep in to Kalaja bala defining seasonal conducts :
43. CHARYA IN MARCH AND APRIL /
VASANTA/ Chaitra Vaisakha
Surya bala increases.
Sanchita slesma during hemanta and sishira ritu starts
melting and obstructs the jatharagni and influence
digestion and invite disease.
Rukshta increase (rukhsyatara).
We should not forget the truth prevailing today. As per W.H.O
statistics, diseases are growing in number and intensity. A lion
share of savings shall go in health segment. Hospitals will come
up mushrooming in the cities. Super specialties will be at door
steps. Ayurveda appeal for a liberal thought to how remain
healthy adopting know how prescribed by ancient monks.
