2. Background
• The City received $2,000,000 in funding from the NMDOT
as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
(ARRA) of 2009 and Statewide Transportation Improvement
Program (STIP) to construct road improvements on Del Rey
Blvd from Starburst Ridge to Settlers Pass.
• The Del Rey Blvd / Sandhill Arroyo Crossing project will
include the following:
– Widen the existing two lane section to a four lane section
