3. LOCATION
 Recas is a new town in the west side of our
country, situated at 25 km from Timisoara.
 Population: 8000 inhabitants;
 6 Belonging villages;
 Multicultural people: romanian, hungarian,
serbian, german, croats;
 Main economic activities: agriculture (wine
production in particular, field crops and
animals), industry and services;
 Attractions of the area: Recaş Winery (shop and
wine tasting), Izvin and Herneacova Stud
(specialised in English and Nonius horse breeds),
local history musem, golf club, local cultural
events, ciclotourism trails, fishing.

 Our centre is part of the town hall administration;
 P.P.A.I. started his activity in 2007 and in 2010
became e-centre.
 We grew a lot professionally, we have many new
skills which helps us to develop our community.
 Basic services: copy, printing, scanning, internet
access,text writing, CD burning.
 Other services: job searchig, computer courses,
blog creating, photography, events organization,
promote for the local companies.

Job seaching
We are offerring assistance for those people who
are looking for jobs in the town and in bigger
cities. We teach them how to edit an curriculum
vitae, how and where post it on websites.

8. “GET ONLINE DAY”CAMPAIGN
 In 2010 and 2011 our E-centre was one of the
winners of the “Get online Day”campaign.
 In 2010 our movie was about some refugees from
Honduras, which were helped by our centre to
communicate with their families.
 In 2011, the actors from the movie were old
people which were our studets at the computer
initiating course.

11. SOME OF OUR PROJECTS
 In 2010 we had a beginner English online course
in partenership with other villages from Timis
and Caras county.
 In the same year, we were parteners with
Jimbolia town in a project named “IT trainning
for seniors”, which was a big success.
 Both projects were relevant for us because we
experienced in providing training services, for
first times in our career.
 We are parteners with EOS and Student Plus
Foundation from Timisoara and we organize
together computer initiating and online English
courses.

12. OLD PEOPLE – COMPUTER COURSE

14.  This year we were parteners with Diosig village
from Bihor county in a project which was for the
local wine producers. We had together
workshops, meeting with oenologist, wineyards
visit, computer course and different activities
with students.

15. ENVIROMMENTAL PROJECTS
 Starting with 2010, our e-centre takes part each
year to the “Let`s do it, Romania!”, an European
cleaning campaign. We organize the cleaning day
in each belonging village, and together we and
many other towns we help the nature to breathe.

16. COMMUNITY PROMOTE
 For promoting our commnunity, in 2009 we
started to write on http://blogu.lu/papirecas/ all
the new informations about our community.

17.  Another promote is on the facebook. A lot of
people which were born here and they left, could
visit online their home town and find news and
old friends.

18.  The most beautiful pictures around Recas were
added on website www.panoramio.com for
promote our special places and landscapes.

19. Donating campaign
 In July 2010 our centre started a local campaign
for helping those people which were the flood
victims from the eastern part of our country.
 We managed to mobilize the town hall, local
instituions, companies, citizens, to donate food,
water and clothes.

20. LOCAL NEWSPAPER AND
BROCHURE
 Our e-centre is making the newspaper of the
town, which appears quarterly.
 In October 2010 we reeditated the town
presentation brochure.
