How to Quickly Maintain When Disaster Strikes:
Disasters like flood, fire, or Earthquake can strike at any time. Do you know where your
employees would report to work if that happened to you? Does your Organization have an
Emergency Plan? If you’re small and unprepared you could be out of operations in the absence
of a disaster recovery plan. Be prepared for any emergency or disaster, natural or man-made.
This step-by-step policies and actions is help to quickly produce an emergency and disaster
management plan.

Key Action Plan:
Special section providing detail steps that are recommended to assist in developing a Disaster
Management Plan.
Main Key Policy:
The Organization/Donor will provide for a primary and secondary centers of operation(affected
areas & community) equipped with appropriate supplies/Aid and equipment/help/relieve.
Purpose:
To prepare for safety and recovery as a result of a disaster.
Scope:
This statement will apply to alternative centers of operations(Disaster Areas) and
recommended
Supplies/Aid.
How Policy Proceed:
SUPPLIES/AID AND EQUIPMENT/RELIEVE:
The following supplies/Aid and equipment/Relieve shall be stored at the primary and secondary
Centers of Operations(Disaster Areas), and at each branch, department and facility as
appropriate:
Developed By : Komal Zahra
 Current full copy of the Organization’s Disaster Management Plan and
operations procedures for each area, Beneficiary, facility and function.
 Building plans for each affected and destroyed areas, including primary control
points for all utilities, if applicable.
 Complete and current list of all Beneficiaries, including names, addresses, and
phone numbers current position descriptions indicating their damage and loss
shall be included.
 Complete and current list of all equipment/relieve/help and serial numbers;
replacement information; names and phone numbers of designated
Beneficiaries.
 Complete and current list of all emergency services, community resources and
related agencies within each country, or other geographic region, serviced by the
organization..
 Food, water and medical supplies as appropriate.
 Battery-powered radios capable of receiving emergency instructions; fire
extinguisher flashlights; and basic tools as appropriate.
 Master keys, alarm access codes and other security information Centers of
Operations.
 Disaster Recovery Policies, Procedures and Forms
 Sample Procedure
 Chronological log forms to document all actions taken during the emergency.
 Any other items considered appropriate during the initial and annual review
process
STORAGE SITE:
In addition to the primary and secondary Centers of Operations (Disaster Areas), a storage
site may be maintained at a location distant from those Centers/affected places. This storage
site may contain items acquired in addition or in place of the items stored at the Centers of
Operations. These items are to be determined by the Disaster Management Team
Coordinators. This storage site is:
