This document provides instructions for adding files in Blackboard Learn 9.1. It explains how to enter a content area, select "Add Content" and then "Item" to name and describe a new item. Instructors can then upload PDFs and other files by browsing their computer. Multiple files can be attached and access restrictions can be set. Once all options are selected, clicking "Submit" will add the content. The document also covers using the "Add File" and "Add Image" tools to quickly upload files or images with descriptions.
7. Name the Item e.g. Lecture 1 slides. You may
also like to use the textbox to add a description
or instruction.
8. To access all textbox editor features, select the
chevron-shaped icon to expand it.
9. You can expand the textbox editor by dragging
the bottom right-hand corner.
10. Next upload a PDF
by using the Browse
My Computer
option.
11. You can attach multiple
files e.g. a PDF copy and
an alternative .pptx copy.
12. By default, the item will be available and visible
to your students immediately.
13. Remember to select Yes to Track Number of
Views if you wish to make use of Reports.
Historic reporting data is retained for a maximum
of 30 days at the University.
14. Date and time restrictions can also be
set for content. More advanced
Adaptive Release rules can also be
set once the item has been added.
15. Once all options have been
chosen, select Submit to add
your content.
