introduce ourselves to the short film topic. I have gathered
that codes and conventions include:
• few settings / limited locations – either elaborate or simple
depending on budget
• few characters
• complies or challenges Todorov's equilibrium sequence
• selling a short narrative in a short time frame
• often leave the audience questioning aspects of the
narrative
