I like to explore how organizations that build and run software can make their lives better. This statement needs some unpacking.
The organizations I work with are usually responsible for building and running software.
- They're working out how ideas from DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and Lean apply to them.
- They've been adopting cool new technology - cloud and other dynamic infrastructure platforms; automated configuration management like Chef, Puppet, and Ansible; and increasingly, containerization tools like Docker.
But it isn't always clear how to put this stuff into play, especially in organizations that have been around for a while.
I do various things with organizations in hope...
