Kgabo Badimo is CEO and chairman of technology
company Spescom Datavoico. The company markets mul-
timedia voice-transaction recording products around the
world. Badimo is the former GM for public services ;md
director for strategic business development at SAP busi-
ness software. Prior to that, he was CEO of Kunjam
Telecom. Between 2001 and 2003. Badimo served as
group executive: customer relations and executive di-
rector at MTN.
He has a 8Sc in computer science from the University of
the North, an honours degree from France's Universite de
Caen and a master's in data engineering from Keele
University in the UK. He's also completed an executive

Sifiso Dabengwa is group COO of MTN and serves as the
company's vice-president of the South and East Africa
region. He previously served as CEO of the Nigerian
business, where he is now director, after a stint as MO of
MTN SA.
Before joining the telecom company in 1999. Dabengwa
headed Eskom's distribution division, where he controlled
a multibillion-rand budget in a division employing 17 000
people and generating revenues of more than R20bn/year.
Dabengwa is the former chairman of the Dawn Suite Hotel

Hasmukh Gajjar is deputy CEO of Faritec. a listed blnck IT

Paris Mashile is chairman of the Independent Com-
munications Authority of SA (Icasa). He succeeded Mandla
Langa as the organisation's chairman in 2005 after a year's
stint as its councillor.
Before joining the media & telecommunications regulator.
Mashile was the director of infrastructure & development
for the Rustenburg local municipality and has also worked
for Siemens. Rcunert and Rand Water. In the 1980s he
was a physics lecturer at the University of Botswana

Alex Motshwanetsi Mathole is executive director and
general counsel at Siemens Southern Africa, a position she
was appointed to in 2008 after suiting out at the hi-tech
multinational firm as its company secretary in 2006.
Mathole previously worked for Securicor. for five years. At

Nombutelo "Pinky" Moho'i's appointment as managing

She serves on the presidential commission on information

He started his career at KPMG before establishing a
company called Software Connection. Its name was later
changed to Business Connexion after it merged with
Seattle Solutions. In 2003. Business Connexion bought a

Africa, in a move seen at the time as one of the most
