would probably be Public Speaking
Purpose: To learn how to speak and present
in front of others comfortably, confidently,
and successfully.

3. Afraid of Speaking?????
That’s OK, it’s ranked ahead of death on
surveys regarding American’s biggest fears.
In this class you will and must speak!!!
It’s the only way to get better.

9. Grading
Grading in this course is done simply by
total points. So, you can understand the
significance of an assignment by the total
points it is worth. For example, an
impromptu is generally worth 10 points, an
informal speech is generally worth 25
points, and a formal speech is usually worth
50 points.

10. Final Grading
Each marking period is worth 40% of your
final semester grade and the final exam is
worth 20% of your final semester grade.
