On the anniversary of the largest act of destruction towards the U.S., Kevin Seawright has been recognized by the
University of Notre Dame for finishing Phase Two of the Nonprofit Fund Development Program. Mr. Seawright is actively
taking measures to increase the substantiality of U.S. citizens again. Last year, he was selected as Executive Vice President
of the Newark CEDC. Mr. Seawright is now a leader in New Jersey and the Newark community and is committed to helping
people improve their lives in the city of Newark.
Kevin Seawright has made a career of working in the local government, education and in real estate development. He has
lived in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC and now calls Newark home. He has always been involved in the
community, and he comes from a background of public-oriented positions. He supported the Babe Ruth Museum by sitting
on the advisory board, was an active member of the American Society for Public Administration, the National Forum for
Black Public Administrators and the National Association of Black Accountants. Kevin Seawright is a positive influence
and leader in every community that he resides in, and he makes it a point to leave it better than when he arrived.
The Newark CDEC is excited about their recent choice in Kevin Seawright as leader and vice president. This cutting-edge,
non-profit organization was designed to help the citizens of Newark in economic situations such as real estate and housing
loans becoming an example for other cities. Mr. Seawright told the media that he was on a mission to become even more
involved in helping the public by aligning himself with organizations that are impactful within the city. Kevin Seawright is
in the perfect position to use his leadership skills and talents to strengthen and empower communities and neighborhoods in
Newark.
