Attorney and legal scholar Kenneth Randall started his career as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City, where he practiced for two years before serving as the W. Bayard Cutting, Jr., Fellow of International Law at the Columbia University School of Law. Upon completing a JSD, Kenneth (Ken) Randall joined the University of Alabama School of Law faculty as an assistant professor, and in 1994 he assumed the role of dean of the University of Alabama School of Law. As dean, he implemented the first Master of Law degree programs offered online and generated more than $60 million in fundraising to raise staff salaries and improve student resources.
