produced? By whom?
Diamonds Are Forever produced 1971 by John Barry and writing by Don Black,
Shirley Bassey a songstress of many popular James Bonds flick song the opening for
this particular movie, which was next to the last of Sean Connery James Bond saga.
Kanye West sample the Diamonds Are Forever in 2005 for his second album Late
Registration Kanye’s version spoke on his affiliation with the Roca- fella record label
that used the diamond symbol for audience to recognize their dynasty.
State how the older piece was incorporated into the new one.
The first version of Diamonds Are Forever was incorporated into the new by
sampling the hook and drum line. Kanye used this sample to put his on emphasis on
the civil war Sierra Leone and Shirley Bassey emphasis also here love for diamonds
which, focused on the title of the James Bond movie.
Demonstrate your understanding of why the older piece was used
in the newer one.
The older version was because in the movie Sean Connery fought off many men and
woman who were also chasing the diamonds. Sean Connery was at war with many
different villains, from 1992 to 1999 the countrymen and woman were also at war
with many different villainess people that try to find ways into their country and suck
it dry of it’s most valuable resources.

and their love for diamonds the same year Leonard DiCaprio stared in a movie called
Blood Diamonds, which Kanye West video show’s the hardship Africans go through

2015) Between 1992 and 1999, Sierra Leone was engaged in a civil war, which was
blamed primarily on a “ scramble for diamonds.” This paper critically analyzes the
related film Blood Diamond (2006) in the order to locate the portrayal of Sierra Leone
and of Africa in general in the context of transnationalism. In addition, the analysis
seeks to understand how Africans and westerners contributed to conflict diamonds.
The James Bond Flick depict how smugglers will go the mile to acquire diamonds also
the many laws they will break to achieve, the same vision Kanye displayed in his music
video detailed the lyrics song by Shirley Bassey.
Explain how/why you think the use of the older element was
successful or not.
Sean Connery at this time of his career was a very famous actor and also had
many successful James bond movies under his belt, the success he had from the
prior movies carried on to The Diamonds Are Forever movie. Sean Connery was
offered 1.25 million to comeback and complete this movie, majority of the Bond
movies are successful because of the production, location and fashion that’s put
into the film not to mention the stunning soundtrack that’s put together for this
film.
Is the connection between the two creations clear or unclear? Why
or why not?
Both creations have many different messages but the clear message is many
different organization will do whatever they can to get their hands on diamonds for
reason a normal person wouldn’t understand countless number of people died behind

end of the day lives or loses behind diamonds.
