  1. Welcome everyone to the PayAnywhere Storefront training call (click to advance)
  2. Before we get into the details, let’s talk about the difference between PayAnywhere Storefront and Phone Swipe. PayAnywhere Storefront is the complete solution for merchants with a retail storefront that includes both a tablet and mobile processing solution. You will still sell Phone Swipe as the mobile payment solution, with pay-as-you-go or custom pricing. (click to advance)
  3. Let’s open the box and take a look at what comes packed inside. There’s the free 10 inch tablet with stand that has a built in card reader. The box includes an extra mobile reader that can be used on a smartphone or tablet. The box also contains a power cord, a mounting kit to install the stand on a countertop, and an easy-to-follow setup guide. (click to advance)
  4. The custom Android tablet is designed and manufactured specifically for our PayAnywhere Storefront solution. The nationally recognized PayAnywhere app comes preloaded and there’s access to PayAnywhere Inside, our streamlined portal that will provide merchants the insight to make better business decisions. In the PayAnywhere Inside portal, merchants can also manage their account profile, eliminating the need for you to pass these requests on to us. We will talk a little more about this in a minute. Keep in mind that your merchant must have Wi-Fi Internet access available to use the tablet. (click to advance)
  5. The stand rotates making it easy for customers to sign. The stand tilts up and down so that the merchant can adjust it to whatever position is most comfortable regardless of their counter height, and the longer, built-in track makes for more reliable swiping! In addition, merchants will have their choice of black or white stand colors. Along with the free tablet, stand, and card reader, for a small monthly fee, merchants have the option of adding a Printer or a Printer and Cash Drawer combo to their package (click to advance)
  6. A Star Bluetooth Printer can be wirelessly connected for easy receipt printing. A “ready” button indicates that the printer has paper and is operating properly. The Star printer comes equipped with a power cord, instruction disc, and a roll of paper. Another option available is a printer and cash drawer combo. The cash drawer comes with its own cable for connection to the printer as well as a key to keep the drawer locked and secure. The five and eight point drawers are removable. (click to advance)
  7. Let’s take a look at some general categories of merchants you can keep in mind. PayAnywhere Storefront was designed for merchants operating a storefront and/or a higher level of transactions. Some great fit businesses include quick service restaurants, high level processors, retail shops, bakeries and cafes, plumbing stores with mobile teams, and nail salons. Merchants and services that will be good fits in the near future for PayAnywhere Storefront are restaurants that require software to schedule shifts, keep running tabs, and print kitchen tickets. Also in the “near future” category are merchants who use pin based debit, gift cards, and check services – as well as merchants who participate in our Capital for Merchants program. Even as we speak, continuous enhancements are being made to our product and you can expect a lot of added features to be coming soon. We’ll talk more about future enhancements in a few minutes.   8. As I mentioned a few moments ago,The merchants can add users to their accounts so employees can process sales on their behalf. This can be done on PayAnywhere Inside. Once added, all an authorized user needs to do is log in to the PayAnywhere app with their credentials and they’re ready to ring up sales (click to advance)
  9. For the fastest sales, there’s “Swipe to Sell.” Merchants can just swipe the card, enter the amount, and take payment. Otherwise, creating a sale is as simple as touching an item from inventory and it will be added to the customer’s receipt. The “Custom Item” option allows merchants to make a sale and add an item to inventory all at the same time. (click to advance)
  10. When a sale is completed, all the merchant has to do is swivel the stand and let the customer sign with their finger. (click to advance)
  11. The inventory menu makes it easy for merchants to add photos and descriptions of products and services. The use of categories and tags makes searching for an inventory item simple. (click to advance)
  12. With PayAnywhere Storefront, merchants can access detailed activity reports for both cash and credit card sales. They’ll be able to retrieve daily, weekly, monthly and yearly summaries of their sales. These reports are great and from the feedback we have received the merchants really like them.   13. You’ll continue to see more new features in future releases. And remember since updates are performed automatically, all your merchants have to do is start using each new feature. Already, plans are under way to include the ability to text a receipt in the form of an SMS message, more in-depth item management, the ability to scan barcodes, discounting on an item level, and EMV compatibility.   14. As everyone is aware, data security has become more and more important each and every day, just turn on the news or read about it! PayAnywhere Storefront utilizes Point to Point Encryption and PayAnywhere is a PCI compliant level 1 Service provider, which is the highest level of PCI compliance achievable in the industry today. Not only does the solution look and perform great, but it keeps merchants and their customers secure. (click to advance)
  15. The PayAnywhere Inside Portal is another example of how we’re improving your merchants’ payment processing experience. The portal provides your merchants with detailed views of their sales activity, hands-on administration that lets them monitor and add multiple users, and custom reporting! We think they’re going to love the independence and power the portal provides them and you’ll benefit by spending less time answering questions and more time making sales!   16. Merchants log in to the portal using their email address and the password they set up on the Apply site( we will be discussing the Apply Site in a few minutes). (click to advance)
  17. The portal opens to show their account activity with additional menu items shown at the top. We’ll take a look at some of the portal’s special features. Using the Activity View, your merchants will be able to find all their transaction information at a glance beginning with a large summary view of their sales. A line graph lets them see the peaks and valleys of their business, and a familiar, bank-like listing shows real-time transaction data. Using an easy dropdown menu, transactions can be customized based on a specific time period. Merchants also have the ability to create and even save custom views of their transactions!   18. Let’s take a look at the portal’s support center. The self-serve Support Center is where merchants can find help and information related to the PayAnywhere app. Menu selections come with step-by-step instructions that walk the merchant through critical topics like adding a bank account and setting up their inventory. The merchants can order additional card readers and most likely qualify for a free one. Make sure you mention to your merchants that there is also a special promotions and rebates area. That will help you build a strong relationship with them! (click to advance)
  19. The portal’s Profile section lets the merchant preform a number of maintenance activities they depended on you and Customer Service to accomplish… like update a bank account and change their password or email. Merchants can add a Facebook link that will appear on their emailed receipts that customers can click on. Social networking is a marketing advantage many merchants have yet to fully discover, so be sure to let them know what a great opportunity this is for them to expand their online and mobile presence. Merchants can also add and manage employees to process and take payments on their behalf. Let’s take a closer look at the “Business Information” section of the Profile page.   20. …edit their business information. Think about how much time this is going to save you from having to support your merchants and how convenient it is for them to have access to edit their personal information like name, contact info, and birthdate as well as their business profile information like business entity, business type, and monthly sales info – even down to how long they’ve been in business!   21. Rounding things out in the Profile Section, merchants have the power to decide on the alerts they want to receive – and can even create their own custom alerts! (click to advance)
  22. Both the app and PayAnywhere Inside have support for Spanish! All the merchant needs to do is go into the tablet’s settings and select “Español” for the language. Both the portal and the app will be translated. (click to advance)
