2. ARTWORK PROJECT
DESIGN STATEMENT
The client is a mature couple with no children in the home. The couple requires a design that will accentuate and be based
around a painting that they acquired while traveling abroad.
DESIGN CONCEPT
The clients redesign will be centered around the painting The Last Words of Marcus Aurelius by French painter Eugene
Delacroix. The furniture pieces, accessories and patterns will be pulled from the Neoclassical era to complement the date of
the painting.
4. BARTELS MASTER BEDROOM SUITE
DESIGN STATEMENT
The Bartels require a redesign of their bedroom suite. They want to be able to work as efficiently as possible while being able
to enjoy their sanctuary while reading and having a cup of coffee.
DESIGN CONCEPT
The redesign of the Bartels bedroom suite will strive for simplicity while maintaining elegance and sophistication. The suite will
allow for easy movement between areas and will provide a morning kitchen and a seating area to enjoy books and periodicals
along with a hot cup of coffee.

6. SINGLETON WRITERS DEN
DESIGN STATEMENT
Mr. Singletons redesign will need to provide ample space for entertaining guests and dates, a sufficient workspace, a place for
his large dog, and be comprised of mostly, if not all, sustainable products and finishes.
DESIGN CONCEPT
Mr. Singletons redesign features a combination of vintage and modern. All but one product will be made of sustainable materials.
There will be a few architectural modifications for space saving purposes and energy conservation. The space will be
comfortably divided up into an entertaining area and a work area.

8. HOLBROOK NURSERY
DESIGN STATEMENT
You have been retained to design the nursery for a young couple who is expecting their first child. They would like the nursery to
be appropriate through age four. They would also like built in storage, a reading area, closet, and furniture that will grow with
their child.
DESIGN CONCEPT
I will be creating a tranquil and elegant space for a small child to reside in. I will incorporate peaceful colors, warm finishes, and
soft fabrics into a beautiful space for her to grow in. The room will be able to transform from a space for her to be nurtured in
as an infant to a place for her to learn and build her creativity as she ages.

10. DAVIS KITCHEN
DESIGN STATEMENT
The Davis family wishes for an elegant kitchen designed for gourmet chefs. Adequate space for food preparation, presentation,
and entertaining guests is a necessity. The Davis family likes natural colors and textures and clean lines.
DESIGN CONCEPT
The Davis kitchen design will be an elegant and efficient space that will be capable of balancing both the preparation of
gourmet food and the entertaining of guests. The space will flow in a rhythmic fashion to add to the technological efficiency of
the room. Vertical lines and forms will be added to the room to open it up. These will be beautifully incorporated with traditional
colors and textures in conjunction with modern luxuries.

12. GWINNETT ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM (GAP)
DESIGN CONCEPT
This classroom renovation will be energetic, exciting, and captivating. This electrifying environment will be created with the use
of innovative furnishings and finishes that will harness the students creative spirit as well as enhance their educational prowess,
motivating them to excel in their personal growth, as well as scholastic endeavors.

14. OUTDOOR KITCHEN
DESIGN CONCEPT
This outdoor kitchen design will ignite all the senses. The feel of the lively textures, the sight of brilliant colors, the scent of
invigorating fresh air, the taste of wonderful food, and the sound of the exceptional happiness of your friends and family. You
will want to spend all of your time in this space as it will suit the harmony and rhythm that is life.

16. TREE HOUSE
DESIGN CONCEPT
This larger than life treehouse design will bring the harmony and rhythm of the Tofino landscape to life in your living area. The
space will have natural colors, textures, and patterns that will emphasize the unobstructed surrounding views. The space will
allow you to absorb and use the immense natural light while also allowing for the contrast of complete privacy. The treehouse
design will allow you to balance and enjoy all aspects of your retreat.
