We were asked to create a leaflet to tell veterans
where to get help and support.
But this is a product, not a problem.
We need to start with a problem:
‘Veterans can struggle when moving back into
civilian life. How do they find the help they need?’
2. We use the four stage design process to
understand what users need and what product can
best meet that need.

3. We examined all the data we could by looking at
existing resources and holding user research
workshops with service providers and veterans.

4. This is where we design and build the site.
Starting with a pen and some post-its. We work
quickly and make changes often.

5. This is where we are now. We've built a solution, but we
need to keep testing and improving it.
How do we create the best possible experience for users?

6. Live doesn't mean finished. This website is a living
thing that will constantly be improved and updated.
