March or September / October.
• Even if you’re about to rebuild it’s in your best interests to
maximise the efficiency of your website development and
marketing spend.
• If you don’t review website performance at least once a
year you will probably miss new trends.

Why a website spring clean? • Most rebuild and transformational projects kick off Jan- March or September / October. • Even if you’re about to rebuild it’s in your best interests to maximise the efficiency of your website development and marketing spend. • If you don’t review website performance at least once a year you will probably miss new trends.

Website Speed – Did you know? • 25% of visitors leave pages that take more than 4 seconds to load • 64% of mobile users expect page load times of less than 4 seconds • 79% of customers who report speed performance issues never buy again from that website • 1 second increase can decrease pageviews by 11% and conversions by 7%
  • 12. Spotting issues in Conversion Rate • Spot crawl errors • Spot significant drops in important keywords • Spot drop off in key user journeys

Spotting issues in Conversion Rate • Asks users how we can improve their experience • Identifies ‘unknown’ areas of conversion optimisation • Reveals ‘real’ business impact • Are you passing enquiries on too early? • Tells you which organisations aren’t converting • Should we be moving from broadcast to tailored communications?
