Music campaign, or in other words PR (public
relations) is a strategy done in order to promote an
album, single, tour or any other music related product.
This could be done through news, social networks and
many more other methods. Normally, any campaign is
targeted towards certain audience.
3. Possessed
The band possessed is an American death/thrash metal
band, they were one of the first ones to set the
blueprint for a genre such as death metal. Target
audience can be anyone who is enthusiastic in heavy
music. The band's unique selling point is the fact that
they have not released an album in over 30 years, so it
is likely that the band's style has conserved.
4. The three products worked together in order to
promote the album. There are also certain similarities,
they are all bout possessed and they promote their
music. The ideology of the band is anti - christianity,
satanism and nihilism. You could clearly see it in bands
name, logo, lyrics and through many interviews with
their leader Jeff Bacerra.

6. Star theory refers to star's image, ideology and
personality being completely constructed by the record
label or the star's management. However, possessed is
not the case. Possessed have retained their satanic
image over years without conforming to any musical
trends. They are wearing spikes, leather and inverted
crosses since the 80s.
7. There are several differences throughout the products.
For example: the website does not look as brutal or
demonic as the music video or the album cover.
8. Since their reunion, possessed were mostly a festival
band, playing large festivals without doing many tours.
However, now they are able to do a headline tour of
Europe with a lot of shows selling out.
