• Sunnah= practice of religion
– The example that Muhammad set for Muslims
during his life (It could be like a precedent or guide
for Muslims)
• EXAMPLES: Muhammad told Muslims to be sure to
not let others go hungry
• Children must honor parents

• Shahadah = profession or declaration of faith
• When Muslims state belief in one God (Allah)
