Katie collaborates with other educators, designing learning experiences that connect young people to real world projects providing platforms for youth to have a voice and place in their community. A mixed bag of experiences from growing up in Europe, America, Asia and regional Australia are reflected in her work by linking local sustainability and culture to different global contexts. She has worked as a business project manager for the South Australian Government in China, taught English at universities in Shanghai and Taiwan, worked on children’s learning programs in Kenya and Papua New Guinea, plus was a fitness instructor throughout Asia, whilst focusing on learning three different l.
