Katherine R. Morales is a PhD candidate at the University of Dublin - Trinity College, where she studies sociolinguistic theory with a particular focus on the intersections between identity and language use in bilingual communities of practice. She is currently conducting research on Puerto Rican speech and holds a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh.
