Maudhui
• Katika mchakato wa kusoma na
  kusomesha, sufuria ya ya elimu
  huwekwa juu ya mafiga matatu:
     –Maarifa (knowledge)
     –Stadi (skills)
     –Tabia (behaviors)
Msukumo
• Yako mambo kadhaa yamenipa msukumo:
  – Kwanza tukiunda mitaala huwa rahisi kuanisha
    maarifa na stadi zinazotakiwa kusoma au
    kusomesha.
  Mathalani:
  – Tunafahamu kazi za mhasibu na ili mhasibu au
    awe na maarifa husika tunaoorodhesha
    yanayohitajika. Mitaala yetu hutaja maarifa pia
    huoorodhesha vitabu vya kiada na vya kurejelea
    kufikia malengo hayo.
Msukumo
• Kuhusu tabia, mitaala yetu huwa
  kimya na hakuna malengo wala,
  tabia husika hazijaooridheshwa
  na hakuna hata vitabu vya kiada
  au machapisho ya kurejelea.

• Katika kuanzisha mwaka mpya wa
  masomo na hata wakati wa
  mahafali, wageni rasmi husisitiza
  tabia njema kwa wanafunzi au
  wahitimu. Aghlabu tabia zenyewe
  huwa haziwekwi wazi.

• Niliombwa na wenzagu
 niwape nasaha na uzoefu
 wangu, nikawa sina. Ila nikatoa
 ahadi na leo ninatimiza kwa
 maswali mawili.

  tusomeshe nini na tusomesheje?
  Maswali ambayo nikaona
  yanahitaji kuanzisha mjadala juu
  ya tabia ili kuyatafutia majibu

 wa kutambua, kuchagua na
 kuzisoma/kusomesha tabia
 husika.

  shirikishi kuhusu jambo la msingi

• Inahusika na tathmini ya utu, vitu,

  – Inaelekeza fikira (cognitive function)
  – Inashawishi hisia (affective function)
  – Inaathiri hatua (conative function)

Nadharia ya tabia
• Hulka ambazo mtu huzaliwa nazo….
  Vipaumbele juu ya kufikiri, kutoa
  maamuzi, mahusiano na nishati ya mwili.
• Kuna tabia zitokanazo na malezi, upendo
  na mazingira ya mtu kutokana na wazazi
  na jamii aliyokulia.
• Kuna tabia zianzofunzwa sambamba na
  taaaluma yaani kuzisoma na kusomesha.

      hufunzwa na ….
• Katika nadharia ya tatu, juu
  ya tabia katika mchakato
  wa elimu ya juu, kuna
  orodha ndefu ya tabia
  stahiki.

• Tabia zote ni muhimu, ila kwa
  wahadhiri kuna haja ya
  kuziainisha, na kuamua
  kuziiingiza baadhi kwenye
  mitaala rasmi au iliokubalika
  na wengi.

• Chimbuko la haja: hutokana na
  wasomi wenyewe; yaani
  msomaji na msomeshaji
• Wadau wengine: taasisi,
  serikali, jamii nk
Kuna haja?
• Dunia ni soko la ajira inahitaji wahitimu
  walioelimika yaani wenye uwezo (maarifa
  + stadi + tabia)
• Uwezo ( au competency) ni jumuisho la
  maarifa (applied), stadi za kazi na tabia
  (attributes/ behaviours/attitudes) ili
  kufanya kazi nzuri zaidi ya kiwango cha
  kawaida. (McClelland, 1973)
Haja za Wasomi
• Kuna nadharia moja ya
  muundo, tabia na utendaji
  (S – C – P) kwamba utendaji
  wa mtu unaathriwa na
  tabia na inatokana na
  muundo.

• Muundo huenda ukawa umiliki,
  vyanzo vya mapato, kipimo
  (ukubwa), jiografia, wakati , jinsia nk
  hulazimisha kusoma au kusomesha
  tabia fulani.
• Mathlani kuhusu umiliki: kuna vyuo
  vya serikali , vya dini au vya binafsi?
Mifano – vyuo vya dini
• Vyuo vya taasisi za dini hutaka
  kutambuliwa kuwepo kwa mungu,
  kujenga tabia za dini husika na
  hairuhusu kufuru kwa mfano dhana
  za Charles Darwin kuhusu asili ya
  binadamu.

• Vyuo hivi hufundisha tabia
  zinazo endana na imani za dini
  kama vile haramu, halali ,
  makuruhu, utumishi wa
  mungu nk

• Kwa mfumo huu, chuo ni zizi, walimu
  na wachungaji na wanafunzi ni
  wachungwa. Kwa hiyo wachungaji ni
  masuuli – wataulizwa mbele ya
  mungu juu ya dhima ya tabia za
  waliowachunga kama zimeenda
  kombo
Mifano: Vyuo vya serikali
• Vyuo vya serikali hustawisha fikra ya kutafuta
  ukweli na kuruhusu imani mbalilmbali na hata
  zile zinazo kubali kuwepo kwa mungu na zile
  zinazokataa kuwepo kwa mungu.
• Wakati wa kupigania uhuru, au wa ukombozi
  vyuo hivi hukazania fikra za walioshika uongozi
  wa serikali.
• Mathlani serikali ya kijamaa ilizaa watu wenye
  tabia za uzalendo, wapenda haki na utu na
  haya yalikuwepo ndani ya mitaala.
Vyuo binafsi
• wadhamini huwa na malengo ya kufikia
  ndoto za walengwa na hulenga
  kufanikiwa, kushinda, na ujasiria mali.
  Tabia zinazowekwa makazo ni pamoja na
  kuwa mshindani, mjasiriamali, kiongozi
  nk
Vyuo binafsi

• Sera za vyuo zimeelemea kuwa
  mwanafunzi ni mteja na mteja
  anahaki ya kuchagua
  atakachotaka kusoma au
  kusomeshwa.
Vyuo binafsi
• Msomeshaji anawajibu wa
  kumridhisha kila mteja, mara ya
  kwanza na kila mara. Elimu ni bidhaa
  na kwa hiyo mfumo wa masomo ni
  wasoko huria.
Vyuo binafsi
• Mwanafunzi huamua atakacho soma
  yeye na msomeshaji atalazimika
  kumridhia mteja wake. Kwa maana
  hii, tabia hata figa la tabia katika
  elimu ni uchaguzi wa msomi
  mwenyewe.

• Tabia nazo huwa katika bidhaa kama
  vile Entrepreneurship, Diversity, nk.
• Wasomeshaji/ wahadhiri hufanikiwa
  kama wanasajili wanafunzi wengi na
  kutathminiwa kuwa wanawajali na
  kuwaridhisha wateja wao.
Swali letu la msingi
• Tufundishe nini, tufundishaje?
   –kuandaliwa orodha ya tabia
    muhimu zinazostahiki kila mhitimu
    awe nazo
   –Tuainishe zile za muhimu,
   –Tuzifundishe vipi?
Jitihada za kuanisha ‘Tabia’
• Azimio la UNESCO juu ya tabia ni pamoja
  na uraia, tabia za kushirikiana na jamii,
  uwezo, kuchunga haki za binadamu,
  maendeleo endelevu, demokrasia, na
  amani katika misingi ya haki.
• Nyingine ni utamaduni wa kujiendeleza
  na kuleta maendeleo
Jitihada za kuanisha ‘tabia’ – JKN
          (Elimu ya Kujitegemea)
• Mwalim alibainisha tabia za kujitegemea,
  tabia za kuhudumia umma na tabia za kutatua
  au kuwaondelea watu (wananchi) matatizo na
  migogoro.
Ameainisha:
• Ushirikiano ( na sio maendeleo ya mtu binafsi)
• Fikra za usawa
• Wajibu wa kutoa huduma

         (Elimu ya Kujitegemea)
• Akili ya kuchunguza
• Uwezo wa kujifunza
• Uwezo wa kukataa au kukubali vitu
  wanavyofanya wengine kufuatana na mahitaji

• Kujiamini kama mtu sawa na huru
• Anaethamini wengine na anathaminiwa … kwa
  anachokifanya na si anachokipata

Tufundishe ‘Utu’
• Utu au kwa lugha za kusini “ubuntu” ni
  ufundi au tasnia ya a kuwa binadamu
  (Ivorgba, 2009).
• Utu au “ubuntu” kwa semi za Zulu:
  “umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”,
  inamaanisha utu wa mtu unapatikana
  toka kwa mtu mwingine

• Kwanza: Tukumbuke kuwa
  huwezi kufundisha usichokijua
  au kuwa nacho!!
• Haja ya kujiandaa/kuandaliwa
  kuwa na tabia husika.

• Tatu, kuikimu nidhamu na kuiweka hali shwari
  ya kusoma na kusomesha. Kowalski, (2003)
  anatoa mifano ya tabia za kitoto, za kuudhi na
  inajumuisha kuchelewa, kuundoka kabla ya
  wakati, kuongea pembeni, kuchelewesha kazi,
  udanganyifu, kujipatia alama zisizo haki.

 pia huchangiwa na
 wasomeshaji kwa kutoweka
 misingi ya nidhamu na
 kuisimamia.

Mifano: Vyuo vya serikali • Vyuo vya serikali hustawisha fikra ya kutafuta ukweli na kuruhusu imani mbalilmbali na hata zile zinazo kubali kuwepo kwa mungu na zile zinazokataa kuwepo kwa mungu. • Wakati wa kupigania uhuru, au wa ukombozi vyuo hivi hukazania fikra za walioshika uongozi wa serikali. • Mathlani serikali ya kijamaa ilizaa watu wenye tabia za uzalendo, wapenda haki na utu na haya yalikuwepo ndani ya mitaala.
