POUGHKEEPSIE
MUSEUM
DIA Poughkeepsie Museum, is the modern
museum which takes place in the down-
town area of Poughkeepsie New York. The
main idea of the museum was to take the
art pieces from DIA:Beacon and place them
in the Contemporary Museum in Pough-
keepsie. My main idea of my museum was
to attract the people from the outside to the
inside. Currently the site is used by people to
go to work or to move around the area. My
entire museum is underground and I de-
signed different clerestory windows which
appear in the plaza. The clerestory - boxes
have a different meaning and it shows the at-
traction of the people towards art since the
80s. The contemporrary 21st people do not
pay as much attention to art and they are not
as interested as they were, and for that I took
the advantage and the windows are higher
and bigger , in result the people around the
plaza have a better view in the museum.

The museum includes two types of light studies. The clerestory win-
dows and the window through the glass with the pool which sur-
round the entire main entrance of the museum on the first floor.
On the right top , I put the Richard Serra Sculptures wchich the ceil-
ing is open to above. On the right bottom I show my cafe and book-
store with the view outside of the pool. The main building which is
the entry and the bookstore/cafe is the main temple of my design.

Nightclub

The Delhi Commons plaza was a proj-
ect my junior year at SUNY Delhi which
included six commercial and residential
buildings on the lower campus of SUNY
Delhi. My main role of the project was the
design of the nightclub which includes
three floors in front of the main entrance
of the plaza. The main idea of the night-
club was the connection from the outside
to the inside, and to entertain not only
the people from the inside but the peo-
ple on the outside who were using the
public areas of the plaza as well. On the
first floor I included the main entrance,
offices, kitchen and bar/dance floors.
On the second floor I designed an open
area to below, and my VIP guest area, I
also included a VIP room for more pri-
vate and different types of event nights.
The project took a total of eight weeks.

Center
Walton, NY
December 2014
Family Center in Walton NY, was a great
opportunity to work close to clients and
people that had certain ideas about a fu-
ture project. This project was to include
a place for the family to spend ti,e to-
gether and a place to pray in peace. Also
this Family Center included a gym facil-
ity for afterschool games, and a daycare
with special clasrooms for private groups
such as art classes, computer classes, game
rooms, for poet nights or karaoke nights.
The main area of the project is the Mul-
tipurpose room which includes a cafete-
ria and a kitchen next to the playground.
Also , another one thing that the clients
wanted to include in the project was the
relationship between the kids and the par-
ents throughout transparent windows.

24. Single
family
home
Wisconsin
December 2013
The Single Family Home, was one of my
first residential projects my Sophmore Year
at SUNY Delhi. The Residence took place
in Wisconsin. It is a single family home,
one story, which included a full bedroom
and two bedrooms, one office and a living
room, kitchen area. In my design I tried
to seperate the private area of the house
with the public area. Between those two
areas I have the living room which has a
hallway on the top that follows you to the
bedrooms and office. On the sother side I
included teh kitchen and the back porch.
