HEAT Transfer & Objective
 A form of energy associated with the motion of atoms or molecules.
 Transferred from higher temperature objects to objects at a lower
temperature.
 Objective..
 Purification of pharmaceutical products is made possible by this process.
When heat is applied to a saturated solution of a substance, the solution
becomes supersaturated, causing the substance to crystallize.
 Pharmaceutical manufacturing requires specialist heat transfer fluids for
precise temperature control across cooling and heating phases.
Therminol® heat transfer fluids provide the necessary characteristics in a
single fluid compared to dual systems such as steam/brine or steam/
glycol.

 HEAT TRANSFER Classification of heat flow process When two objects at
