1. Final DIGITAL PORTFOLIO REFLECTIONS
1. In Honors World History, what are you most proud of doing/achieving? Explain.
" I am most proud of actually keeping up with all the work and assignments for this
class. It was tough and intense, because at the beginning of the semester I was really
behind and so I had to bust my butt to stay on track. I had better time management
when the second quarter of the semester came, and I am really proud of myself for that
too. My first quarter grade wasnʼt what I wanted it to be so I had to find my problem and
fix it. Now, it is the second quarter of the semester and close to the end of the year, and
I definitely improved in this course.
2. Throughout your 10th(9th) grade year, what are you most proud of achieving (in
terms of school)? Explain.
" Throughout my 10th grade year, I am definitely most proud of keeping up with all
of my classes. I had all honors classes this year and so I had tons of homework every
night. I had to make the most of my time and tried to keep my grades all up to an A also.
It was tough for me because I also had extracurricular activities after school, but I made
it through the tough times. Second semester is definitely more intense than first
semester. I have an EOC in my second semester that I am really trying to pass, while
studying and reviewing for my final exams in my other courses. Itʼs a really intense
semester and I really hope that I pass my finals and the EOC.
3. If you were given the task to reinvent History Education, what things would you want
to see happen in a history class room? Elaborate and really describe. You could create
a unit of study on your favorite topic and describe how students would learn about that
topic.
" I would definitely want to make history class a little more fun. Assignments like
history games would probably do. Maybe before a test, the class could play a history
review game. Hands on assignments would also do instead of just reading and
answering questions all the time in every history class. Doing assignments that involve
creativity would be fun and wonʼt be as boring. Some people probably will not like doing
hands on activities, but itʼs better than reading a book.
