Republic of the Philippines Department of Education CARAGA Region Schools Division of Tandag City TANDAG CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL District III NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL ORIENTATION OF HOOMEROOM GUIDANCE 2ND IMPLEMENTATION S.Y. 2021-2022 As an educational institution, Tandag Central Elementary School conducted the Online Orientation on Revised Implementation Of Homeroom Guidance (HG) during crisis situation last October 12,2021. The office of Curriculum and Instruction (CI), through the Bureau of Curriculum Development (BCD), issues this document as basis.This document is a revision of the policy guidelines previously issued (DM-OUCI-2021-144 and DM-OUCI-2020-155). In line with this, the virtual meeting through google meet was organized and headed by Ma'am Rjan D. Sabarez, Our School Principal and Mrs. Rosemarie E. Lozada, the HG school designate, SpET-1.The said orientation is intended for teachers and parents and is focused on the the life skills development of learners which will empower them to overcome the different challenges and adapt to the “new normal” brought about by the current crisis. The orientation started at exactly 8:30 in the morning. It began with a short program and highlighted the ORIENTATION PROPER with a clear video Presentation FROM BUREAU OF CURRICULUM DIVISION. In the video there are salient points which elaborated by the school HG designate.These are a. Homeroom Guidance should be considered as an information component of mental health in the K to 12 curriculum.It is a part of the information services that is primarily under the guidance and counseling program. Due to the pandemic,with no other available mechanisms to deliver these services b. Homeroom Guidance shall serve as a tool that would promote proactive,preventive,and educational methods to promote the Learner’s Development of life skills.c. Homeroom Guidance shall compliment the department’s goal.which is to produce holistically developed Filipinos who are able to understand themselves ,have problem-solving skills,make informed decisions,achieve academic success,plan for their future, and respect individual differences. It envisions learners who can work for the common good of society and love for our country while uploading the rights and responsibilities of global citizens. In addtion to those very relevant salient points in Homeroom Guidance Implementation. The teachers are also instructed to make HG program to be visible to the SF9 and SF 10 reports of the learners.The school Principal give an emphasis on the working hand in hand together with the parents who attended the said orientation.She was stressing out the benefits of working together for the sake of the children. She was quoted a lyrics from a famous song “ we know that divided we’ll fall, so together we stand, together we climb to the top of the world “ which made her short message meaningful and memorable to the teachers and parents as well. During the orientation,the school Guidance advocate showed her deepest appreciation to the parents who were able to attend the orientation and to all to the teachers who motivated them to joined the orientation and to the school principal for the her guidance. The grade level were all well represented by the teachers and their parents.The Kindergarten Level attended by the 2 teachers and 1 parent. The Grade 1 had a total of 6 participants, 3 teachers and 3 parents. The Grade 2 level had 5 participants,2 from the advisers and 3 from the parents. The grade 3 level had 4 participants,2 teachers and 2 parents.The grade 4 had a total of 7 participants which made them the highest number of participants,3 advisers and 4 parents.The grade 5 level had a total of 6 participants, 3 advisers and 3 parents.Last but not the least was the grade 6 level who had atotal
  2. of 6 participants,3 advisers and 3 parents. And of course our school principal together with our 3 implementation teachers.The overall total of our attendees were 37 participants.
