4. History
The Pakistan Army came into its modern birth from the
division of the British Indian Army that ceased to exist as a
result of the partition of India that resulted in the creation
of Pakistan on 14 August 1947. Before even the partition
took place, there were plans ahead of dividing the British
Indian Army into different parts based on the religious and
ethnic influence on the areas of India.
Pakistan military formed the officers who fought world
war II under the British Raj joined the military of Pakistan
giving it professionalism, experience and leadership.
After independence, the military supposed to have been
divided between India and Pakistan with a ratio of 64%
going to India and 36% for Pakistan.
5. Pakistan Army is the largest branch of
military.
It is mainly responsible for protecting state
border.
The security of administration and defending
the national interests of Pakistan.
It is also to be utilize for internal security.

yellowish khaki, which was the standard issue
as both the combat uniform (ACU) and the
service uniform (ASU).

10. “A SILENT FORCE TO RECKON WITH”
The Pakistan Navy is the naval welfare/service
branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
It is responsible for Pakistan’s 1,046
kilometer (650 miles) coastline along the
Arabian Sea and the defense of important
harbors, it operates a wide range of ships
ranging from cruisers to destroyers as well as
submarines.
11. Its primary objective is to ensure the defense
of the sea lines of communication of
Pakistan.

interests by executing national policies
through the exercise of military effect,
diplomatic and humanitarian activities in
support of these objectives .

M.M.Alam)

Alam downed five Indian aircraft in less than
a minute,the first four within 30 seconds.
21. He was born on 17 February 1951. He was
commissioned as a pilot in Pakistan Air Force in
1971. On 20 August 1971 Pilot Officer Rashid
Minhas was to takeoff on a routine training flight
when his Instructor Pilot forced him from the rear
cockpit, seized control of the aircraft and took
off. When Rashid Minhas realized that the
absconding pilot was heading towards India, he
tried to regain control of the plane but was
unable to do so. Knowing that it meant certain
death, he damaged the controls and forced the
aircraft to crash thirty-two miles short of the
border.
22. Hassan Siddiqui is a lionhearted pilot of
Pakistan Air force who made millions of
Pakistanis proud by spilling the 2 Indian jets
and saved the country from a big loss in
2019. He was being appreciated by everyone
for his courageous act that will be worth
remembering.
23. A country without a strong Air Force is at the
mercy of any aggressor. Pakistan must build
up her Air Force as quickly as possible. It
must be an efficient Air Force, Second To
None.
