• Managed Sahara Oil service station franchise in Ghana, West Africa and turned a loss making operation to a profitable venture
by reducing revenue leakages and growing revenue by introducing attractive marketing and sales offers.

Responsibilities and other achievements
• Responsible for hiring, training and resourcing an average of 16 workers at the fuel point of sale, security and supermarket
• Managing the daily fuel dips, point in time audits and health and safety checks at the service station
• Managed the service station debtors, creditors, stock levels and franchise covenants
• Carried out several assessments, investigations, analysis and research to successfully identify revenue leakages, block them and
in increase the overall revenue for the Sahara Oil by reducing revenue leakages.
• Implemented sustainable debt management controls to ensure fuel creditors consistently and timely pay their debts and comply
with the agreed credit terms.
• Maintained key performance metrics that ensured that covenants with banks were complied with during the duration of the
franchise. Agreed general ledger balance to bank statements on monthly basis for correction and accuracy.
• Maintained up-to-date records to ensure that commissions earned on diesel and petrol sold were correctly calculated and
correctly credited. This was done by manging the accounts payables and acoount receivable balances weekly.
• Cultivated a culture of honesty, open communication and discipline by ensuring staff were at work on time, appropriately
dressed and appropriately trained to carry out their duties.
