Ensure provisions are made for monthly expenditure, accruals and accounts payable for AFR through consultation with functional heads.
Liaise with all AFR in producing month end statements.
Oversee AFR Export results.
Highlight anomalies and variances against approved budget in the AFR EXP result
Generate productivity reports for all departments and analyse the trend of performance for AFR.
Liaise with AFR Operations to ensure costing accuracy.
Accurate and timely expenditure provisions, audit, month end statements and management recharge are made.
Accurate & timely processing of inter-company expenses & payments.

Liaise with external auditors re AFR Accounting
Ensure payment to creditors including Airlines, contractors, etc.

Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Liaise with Regional Office on report compilation where requested by Finance Manager.
Assist in compiling AFR Budget.
Support Finance Manager on ad- hoc projects.
Manage and reconcile prepayment accounts
Analyse monthly actual financial results after closure of accounts.
Innovate, identify and recommend process improvements for AFR Accounting
Ensure accurate verification of credit notes.
Prepare airline incentive claims.
Prepare payment for airlines and local agents.
Verify airline invoices
Timely and accurate financial reports, statements and AOP.
3. Anaylse and process airline payment in ALP
Prepare monthly report on cargo sales turnover for submission to regional office.
Verify invoices from local/overseas agents and airlines for import shipments
Verify CCA for export shipments.
Follow-up outstanding account matters People - Management
Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organisation’s business processes.

Expected years of experience (Minimum)
3 years experience in accounting in related industry (preferable).
