This document describes an automatic water pump controller that uses sensors to control water levels. It consists of a pump, sensors, and electrical components on a circuit board. The system works by turning the pump on when the water level reaches a minimum threshold based on a lower sensor, and turns it off once the maximum level is reached based on an upper sensor. This helps automatically maintain optimal water levels while saving water and energy compared to a manually operated system.
3. INTRODUCTION
Automatic water pump controller is a series of
functions to control water level.
With a sensor in the short to create the top level and a
detection sensor for detecting long again made for the
lower level.
Water is used for a variety of purposes for bathing
and cleaning to drinking and cooking.
5. WORKING PRINCIPLE
This controller setup has three sensors, one in sum and
other in overhead tank.
When ever the pump sensor is ON the controller has the
power to control the pump. If the sensor is OFF the whole
controller is turned OFF.
Now let assume that sump is full and overhead tank is
empty. Now both the sensors in the overhead tank is turned
ON .
The lower sensor latches the AC relay so that the pump
turns ON.
7. As soon as the water level increases the lower sensor is turned
offbut the pump continuous be on.
8. As water reaches the maximum level the upper sensor is also
turned OFF so is it unlatches the AC relay. So that the both
relay is unlatched the pump is turned OFF.
9. The pump is OFF only when the water level reaches
the minimum level. But pump is OFF.
10. The pump is restart only when the water level reaches the
minimum level.
12. 1. PC BOARD-
A pc board is a construction base for
prototyping of electronics. It is used for
temporary prototyping and experimenting
with circuit diagram.
2. POWER SUPPLY-

13. 4. LED’s-
A LED is a two-lead semi
conductor light source. It is ap-n junction
diode (Light Emitting Diode).
5. RESISTORS:
Resistor is a passive component
used to control current in a circuit. Its
resistance is given by the ratio of
voltage applied across its terminals to
the current passing through it.
14. 6. CAPACITOR
The voltage rating on a capacitor the
maximum amount of voltage. that a
capacitor can safely be store.
The certain size (1µF to 1000µF, etc.)
and certain voltage (10V, 25V, 50V, etc.).
Capacitors come in different voltage
ratings, so that can supply circuits with
different voltages.
7. TRANSISTORS
A transistor is a semiconductor device
used to amplify and switch electronic
signals and electrical power.
It is composed of semiconductor material
with at least three terminals.
15. 8. VARIABLE RESISTOR
The variable resistor with
has two applications. One is to change
the resistance.
The switch mechanism is used for the
electric contact and non-contact by
on/off operation of the switch.
There are switch mechanism variable
resistors with annular cross-section
which are used for the control of
equipments.
16. 9. RELAY-
The relay module is a normally open
normally closed digital switch that
control relay capable of switching much
higher voltages and currents than your
standard a 12 V
11. CONNECTING WIRES-
Few connecting wires are used for
connection in the circuit.
17. Automatic Water level Controller can be used in Hotels,
Factories, Homes Apartments, Commercial Complexes,
Drainage, etc.
It can be used to predict flood .
Liquid level indicator in the huge containers in the companies.
