4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity
5 minutes
WHICH IS WHICH?
Identify the cause and effect in the situation below.
 The teacher is holding a balloon filled with air inside it. The balloon pops
when the teacher injected a needle in it.
4.2 Activity
10 minutes
GUESS WHAT! Several pictures will be placed on the board. These pictures
indicate causes. Now, what you are going to do is to supply the effects of a
particular picture.
Content of the Pictures:
Picture 1. Smoking Cigarettes
Picture 2. Pollutions
Picture 3. Heavy Rainfalls
Picture 4. Using Prohibited Drugs
Picture 5. Avoid Brushing Teeth
Picture 6. Eating too much candies
4.3 Analysis
10 minutes
The pictures simply stimulate the learners on how to construct/formulate effects of a
certain cause. In this sense, they will recognize the relationship between cause and
effect or in other words, the actions and reactions.
4.4 Abstraction
10 minutes
Discuss the concept of Cause and effect relationship.
A cause-effect relationship is a relationship in which one event (the cause) makes
another event happen (the effect). Moreover, one cause can have several effects.
More precisely, it is a relationship between actions and reactions. Wherein, the
cause (action) explains why something happens while the effect (reaction)
describes what happens.
4.5 Application
10 minutes
Apply the learned concepts through actual demonstration.
FORM A DIAD: Present a brief presentation with the concept of Cause and Effect
Relationship. Feel free to choose your presentation as long as it is still in the
context.
4.6 Assessment
10 minutes
Analysis of Learners’

Construct an informative essay with the concept of cause
and effect relationship. Choose on any of the following
issues.

 Massive Landslide
 Extreme Poverty
 Infidelity
 Early Pregnancy
4.7 Assignment
2 minutes

FORM A TRIAD: Using a fishbone diagram, Make
possible causes of traumatic depression. Be creative
enough in passing your output.
4.8 Concluding Activity In general, learners will have the awareness that every action has its counterparts.
5. Remarks The Lesson was dragged to the next meeting due to time constraint. We’d stopped
at the presentation of lesson which is in the abstraction part of this instructional
Plan.

Domains Adapted Cognitive Process Dimensions OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, learners are expected to: Knowledge The fact or condition of knowing something with familiarity gained Remembering Recognize the cause and effect based from viewed material Understanding Skills The ability and capacity acquired through deliberate, systematic, and sustained effort to smoothly and adaptively carryout complex activities or the ability, coming from one's knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something Applying Analyzing Evaluating Creating Construct an informative essay with the concept of cause and effect relationship Attitude Organization Work with the sense of cooperation with the actual demonstration of Cause and effect Values Valuing 2. Procedures 4.1 Introductory Activity 5 minutes WHICH IS WHICH? Identify the cause and effect in the situation below.  The teacher is holding a balloon filled with air inside it. The balloon pops when the teacher injected a needle in it. 4.2 Activity 10 minutes GUESS WHAT! Several pictures will be placed on the board. These pictures indicate causes. Now, what you are going to do is to supply the effects of a particular picture. Content of the Pictures: Picture 1. Smoking Cigarettes Picture 2. Pollutions Picture 3. Heavy Rainfalls Picture 4. Using Prohibited Drugs Picture 5. Avoid Brushing Teeth Picture 6. Eating too much candies
  • 2. 4.3 Analysis 10 minutes The pictures simply stimulate the learners on how to construct/formulate effects of a certain cause. In this sense, they will recognize the relationship between cause and effect or in other words, the actions and reactions. 4.4 Abstraction 10 minutes Discuss the concept of Cause and effect relationship. A cause-effect relationship is a relationship in which one event (the cause) makes another event happen (the effect). Moreover, one cause can have several effects. More precisely, it is a relationship between actions and reactions. Wherein, the cause (action) explains why something happens while the effect (reaction) describes what happens. 4.5 Application 10 minutes Apply the learned concepts through actual demonstration. FORM A DIAD: Present a brief presentation with the concept of Cause and Effect Relationship. Feel free to choose your presentation as long as it is still in the context. 4.6 Assessment 10 minutes Analysis of Learners’ Products Construct an informative essay with the concept of cause and effect relationship. Choose on any of the following issues.  Facebook Addiction  Massive Landslide  Extreme Poverty  Infidelity  Early Pregnancy 4.7 Assignment 2 minutes Reinforcing/ Strengthening the day’s lesson FORM A TRIAD: Using a fishbone diagram, Make possible causes of traumatic depression. Be creative enough in passing your output. 4.8 Concluding Activity In general, learners will have the awareness that every action has its counterparts. 5. Remarks The Lesson was dragged to the next meeting due to time constraint. We’d stopped at the presentation of lesson which is in the abstraction part of this instructional Plan. 6. Reflections A.
