Members of Oral Biology 1 module,
I welcome you to attend this basic science professional module that introduces a student to
understanding of head and neck anatomy, dental morphology, histology of oral, head tissues and
development of oral tissues. Furthermore the student will be able to understand physiology and
biochemistry of oral tissues. This unit makes foundation to understanding other oral health
professional modules in the future. In this aspect student is supposed to master oral biology I in
order to build good foundation of understanding other courses that will follow.
