2. HANNAH AND MEGAN
WWW- mise en scene was well thought about: e.g Lighting,
setting and props were appropriate. Plot was clear and it
gave the audience a sense of what is going on.
EBI- A variety of shots could have been used to reduce the use of
close ups . Also, the music was contrapuntal, the music seemed
more upbeat as if there'd be some action on screen.
3. LOUISE
WWW- Some of shots were thought through fully as they create suspense and
enigma. The audience can’t see everything going on, or hear what's going on which
keeps them interested. Music was suitable as it went with the character and
situation.
EBI- Setting/ location could have been better, or the shots could've been different,
especially the tunnel bit. Aslo some shots were confusing such as the clock and
when she was spraying perfume on her wrist. It makes it seem like some shots had
more attention than others.
4. MARCUS AND LUKE
WWW- The location suited the opening as did the costumes.. The non-diegetic
music followed the action and was synchronous
EBI- The main thing that would make this even
better and more realistic is if both lighting and
setting were considered for the bit with the killing. It
was done during the day in an open space. A quiet
are with low level lighting are would have been
more suitable.
5. BEN
WWW- The backing music was good
along with some mise en scene
features such as costume. Also
setting was good. And use of camera
shots/ movements were varied. And
titles were included.
EBI- The camera was steadier and
props were more realistic. Not
necessarily get a real gun, but one
that didn’t look too fake. Also the
lighting was too bright for the last
scence.
