I start working like Charlie Chaplin did; he wasn’t depended on none of
the people in his crew. He was able to ﬁlm, yet at the same time perform
in front of the camera, compose the music, write the scripts, direct the
scenes and do anything else that would produce results.

I learned that I love Cinema at the
age of 6; I loved it ever since I can
remember before the age of six but
was never aware of it.And only then
I actually found out that it was very
important for me and I knew it
would be something I would do
when I grew older. I directed my ﬁrst
play that I’ve written at the age of 7
in elementary school in Israel, and
acted in a short movie at the age of
8. I’ve continued acting in plays ever
since, and studied acting on my own
through books and ﬁlms.

At the age of 15, I was on my second year in Drama Class in NYC, I was
so upset at my drama teacher that I cursed her really bad; stuff like “You
are a F*****G B***H” and “a piece of S**T” because she didn’t take me
seriously in that class.

Unluckily, she believed I was like those other students who hardly came to
class because they had no other choice or came for plain credit. She was
unaware that I was one of those students who had no other way of
learning those same skills from greater expensive schools.The only way to
reach to my goals was to take this particular class seriously.

Later when she saw my impulsive reaction towards her, she understood
who I was and what was awaiting for me in the future. She understood I
was one of the students that would make her be proud that she once was
my teacher. Yeah of course she apologized and was very patient with me,
she even taught me all I needed to know in order to succeed. Thanks to
her I’ve also realized how signiﬁcant this ﬁeld was for me.

At the age of 16 I started writing my first screenplay, at 17 I left high
school and kept writing, and at 18 I’ve released my first music album “The
Universe”.At the age of 20 I released my first documentary film “Help the
World” and a music video together with a music album “Help the World”.
At 21 I’ve released few short films;The Mind Speaks,Alix in DreadLand,
Save our children, Unexpected, and Sense Control (that was accepted in
NYC international film festival, was played in ManhattanTimes Square, had
a premier with red carpet and celebrities, and played in over 300
countries).

needs because when you’re a screenplay writer, you expend yourself into

Actor - so you know what type of act you’d like to be done as the
dialogue in your script is being read.
Psychologists- you know what emotions are required in your movie for
certain influence to help the cast pass on to the audience.
Cinematographer - you’ll how you want your movie to be filmed.
Director- you’ll know exactly how to make your script alive, the images in
your mind will turn into a reality.

Now the answer to the second question; why is it so important to know
how to write a good screenplay?
A good script isn’t just a great idea or a great storyline, a good script is an
object that sells, brings ratings, money, fame, and allows the market to take
over. When a producer goes over your script, he doesn't just look at how
interesting your story is, he tries to see the following; how it will sell in the
market? how will it bring top ratings and win competitions? and how will it
look on the big screen?
He looks at all the global needs behind your story. The main reason why it
is good to know to write a good script is because it saves a lot of time.
When you write a good script you save yourself emotional blocks that can
be developed after few rejections. It saves your and the producers time,
and most important; you will continue with your success instead of going
back and trying to ﬁx over and over again up until you’re middle aged. A
good script is the key of all doors in the cinema, remember that.

at all and just write nonsense scripts that have no format or layout.They
write silly scripts that don’t follow any of the rules, that have messed up
dialogues and crappy ideas!Those writers are like rats, they’re all over the
place and they bother tones of producers in the industry by sending them
their worthless scripts.Those writers usually really annoy the producers,
they waste their time and they’re the cause of why so many other greater
writers do not make it through. Because of the fact that those bad scripts
are all over the producers table, he is so tired from reading all that load of
crap that by the time he gets to a good script, he doesn't have the
patience or time anymore, he automatically begins to think it’s another
waste of time so he simply throws them all away.
You don’t want to be that writer, or you don’t want anyone to pay such
careless attention to your valuable script.You want to be appreciated and
noticed by those great producers, therefore you’ve got to know how to
write a good script, it’s all for your own beneﬁt not anyone else's.

Another very important thing I must tell you. It’s about the personal
difficulties script writers go through in their success process.
The beginning isn’t always as easy as it looks or sounds, sometimes it can
be pretty harsh, especially to those who aren’t familiar with the
requirements of the industry and the whole process behind the
achievements. I’ll explain why.
Most writers begin their journey with lots of excitement, just like everyone
else do when they try something new. Slowly with time they realize that
writing a script isn’t as easy as they thought it was, they understand that
they need to learn the format and all the rules a script requires. Later they
see it takes longer than they’ve expected because they always have to go
over the script and rewrite until it’s perfect. After they finally finish
writing, they decide to show it to someone and get some feedback before
submitting it to Hollywood, but those who read their script usually
discriminate their work and tell them it won’t go through....

Or some writers keep their scripts a secret from everyone else and
submit it when they’re ready, later they ﬁnd out that their script was
rejected. (Not always, some writers do make it through)
Those 2 events develop low self a steam, lack of writing skills, lack of
creativity, fear of competitions, emotional breakdown from rejections, and
doubts. 4 more problems a writer has are usually; lack of money , lack of
connections / communication, language problems, & location problems.
Because of these problems, a writer usually keeps his scripts to himself just
like the great & well known painters we all know, who kept their paintings
to themselves and only after death people discovered them and bought
their art.
