Material Handler
I was a Material Handler with ThyssenKrupp Presta Danville facility. TK Presta makes quality
camshafts serving hundreds of automotive customers globally. It the responsibility of the material handlers
to allocate materials to the assembly line, as needed in order to ensure production schedules are met in a
timely manner. My original schedule was a 12 hour rotating day shift schedule, three days on one week, four
days the next, however due to declining business we were switched to 8 hour days 5 days a week in
September.

contracted. I hold a Health Producers license valid in the state of Illinois. I worked for a company that

Cancer insurance like no other currently on the market. We also carried a heart health policy as well an
accident policy. Our main customer base was rural communities within the state of Illinois.

As an assembler with Caterpillar I have a wide array of duties on a daily basis. I work third
shift assembling on the Lower Power train line for Large Mining Trucks.I am responsible for

As a Material SpecialistI am responsible for allocating material to the proper places on the
assembly line. This includes material that is both inbound to our department and outbound, prime
product completed to be transported to another department within the facility or directly to the
customer. My duties require me to be trained and knowledgeable on a forklift as well as howto
safely operate it. I also make it my duty to go above and beyond my job responsibilities by
coordinating with my supervisor regarding materials issues,as well as coordinating with
assemblers to facilitate their materials needs. This position I have held before the first time I
worked with Caterpillar in Decatur, and following my layoff from my supervisory position with Cat
Logistics in Champaign, this was seemingly the only way I could get back into the Caterpillar
family.

As an On-Site Supervisor with Paramount Staffing I am responsible with providing the client with
their staffing needs on a daily basis. As part of my daily duties I am responsible for tracking
employees, updating their positions and pay rates in the billing system, allocating them to the proper
work stations, creating and maintaining accurate time keeping records, and many more
administrative duties. I also work very hard to create and maintain a strong healthy relationship
with the client and the client management. Currently under my leadership there have been no
recordable injuries at the client site.

Responsible for overseeing third shift receiving operations for the ILC. Under my leadership
associates were expected to meet their goals in their respective areas. As a resultof this we
consistently delivered quality product on time and efficiently. I was also instrumental in ensuring all
associates performed their job functions in the safest manner possible in accordance with all policies
and procedures leading to a safety record of 0 injuries for my department. I maintained a positive
work environment as well as a cohesive team atmosphere where everyone worked together to achieve

Assembly & Test Specialist
Assembly of Motor Grader (M) series Lower Power Train Units. The area was designed into 6 build
areas that completed an LPT unit. I was responsible for building the LPT tandem cases,which
involved mounting breaks, mounting a final drive unit, installing chains and making sure the unit
passed quality checks before sending it on. As an assembler I had no recordable accidents nor any
quality related infractions resulting in producing 5 units every night, surpassing our goal of four per
shift.

Materials Distribution Specialist
I was responsible for successfullydelivering products to the Motor Grader assembly line in a timely
and safe fashion. I oversaw the delivery of large parts such as motor grader frames, DCM’s (the
blade unit), engines,and cabs; as well as the smaller component parts. I was instrumental in ensuring
these parts were successfullydelivered to the line and as a result we were able to deliver to the
customer 6 Motor Graders/ day totaling 400k each (average price per motor grader). As a result of
this I was selected to participate in an hourly to management program which I succeeded in leading
to my management position with the Champaign ILC.
