I am writing to you today because I believe my passion for architecture qualifies me for an
internship position in your firm. I am currently a junior attending Alfred State College for my
Bachelor of Architecture Degree. The work your firm produces is inspirational, and the
credibility it holds is an ideal goal of any student aspiring to become an architect.
My skills include thorough knowledge of programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Google Sketchup,
Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. I am seeking an internship position that can challenge me in
every way possible while I continue to learn and start my IDP hours. An internship in drafting,
detailing, creating renderings, or anything else program based is ideal. I am a strong worker with
great people skills who is not afraid to ask questions when I am not sure how complete a task. I
am consistently striving to learn more about my chosen field, and I believe I have a lot to offer
your organization. All I need now is the opportunity to prove myself.
I am looking to start my career somewhere I can be proud to say I work, and I believe CWM is
that place. I am seeking an opportunity where I can move upstate, start my career, and continue
to grow. I would bring my passion, loyalty, and my desire to learn and self-improve to your firm.
