Manufacturing Manager (BUM):
Responsible of the production processes and
procedures of a bakery with 1700 employees
which delivers 240 MM Lb per year , providing a
safe environment for the employees and safe
products for the consumers. Ensuring the
fulfillment of governmental and internal safety,
quality and environmental requirements.
Leveraging on the continuous improvement
principles to deliver business results such as
asset utilization, yield, DVL cost reduction and
productivity.
AM pillar leader:
Responsible for the implementation of TPM
culture across the bakery, focused on the
generation of capability on the AM tools (5s’s,
clean to inspect, abnormality cards, SOC’s,
HTR’s, CIL, Center lines) and in the
management of KPI’s & KAI’s through work
processes structure and PDCA boards, enabling
the pillars interactions and ensuring the
operators have the support of the required
pillars in a timely manner.

Mondelèz International (2007 – YTD).
Multinational +100’000 employees company with operations in all the continents, segregated in
three main categories, biscuits (Oreo, Ritz, Chips Ahoy!, TUC, Club Social, LU), candy’s and gums
(Trident, Chiclets, Halls, Strides) and chocolate (Cadbury, Toblerone, Milka, Lacta).
Monterrey bakery.
o Biscuit plant with 1700 employees’ which delivers 260 MM lbs / year.
o 100+ SKU’s across 8 production lines.
o 100% of production dedicated for USA / Canada markets.
o First bakery to produce for USA market not within USA territory.
o 4th consecutive year to be recognized as the best bakery of the NA network, having the best safety
record and the best overall GE.
2015 – YTD: Manufacturing manager (Business Unit Manager).
o Responsible of the operation of the plant, ensuring the compliance of the safety, quality,
delivery, cost, sustainability and moral indicators, identify opportunities and establish
strategies to deliver GE improvements, increase throughput, and over deliver
productivity.
o Implement IL6S (TPM + L6S) across the bakery, leading the AM pillar according with
the JIPM world class manufacturing system.
2012 – 2104: Section manager (operations)
o Responsible of ensuring the compliance with the procedures through the production
processes, managing resources to deliver committed volume, reduce losses, and increase
efficiency of the production lines.
2011 – 2012: CI engineer (Black Belt)
o Identify losses, and implement DMAIC projects to improve production processes
o Validate all measurement systems / procedures through MSA methodology.
o Certify production lines as 3 sigma lines.
2009 – 2011: Business development engineer
o Support commercialization initiatives, leading plant trials, developing specifications for
new developments, and functioning as a link between the plant and the HQ areas (R&D,
Marketing, engineering, brand stewards, procurement, CS&L) to ensure alignment on key
strategies.
2008 – 2009: Project engineer.
o Support for the re-design, installation, commissioning of the packaging area of a (40MM
Lbs/year) production line. Responsible for the timely execution of the project milestones.
2007 – 2008: Manufacturing supervisor
o Execute production plan and deliver committed volume, ensure operators follow the
procedures to deliver quality products, document operator incidences, ensure operators
comply with training master plan.
