Design for them, not you.
Understand their needs,
motivations
and constraints.
Put them at the center of your
decision making. Reward their
engagement and earn their trust.

KNOW YOUR USERS
Your user is and should be the center of
focus

Know Your Users
When about to launch a product, begin by understanding your users.
Then set product goals that meet their needs
Specific features come AFTER this in a user-
centered design

Working with Personas
A fictional person that captures the
important aspects of your target
Users.
Use it together with your product
vision to create products that match
your users’ needs

Aspects to Include
Demographics ~only relevant ones
Needs ~which of their needs aren't being met?
Hopes/wants ~what do your users wish for?

Know Your Users
Put only the product-relevant
info in your persona
Throughout the product process,
remind yourself of who you are
designing for

Incorporate real feedback
