Personal Statement
I am an accomplished, motivated and versatile Transformation Project Manager with over
10 years of experience within the Public Sector  IT industry. Considered as a visionary
within Technology circles, my real skills lay in utilising Technology to save time, fuel, paper
and recourses, empowering staff and employees to work smarter utilising my skills and
experience in successful project delivery.
Being an effective change manager with a portfolio of Transformation  IT project delivery.
Managing and delivering projects to a cost of £4 million to over 4000 staff, whilst meeting the
expectations of a diverse group of stakeholders and delivering to previously agreed cost,
quality and scheduled targets.
Whilst working for Wiltshire Council & Wiltshire Police I led on many projects to implement
transformation and New Ways of Working such as:
o Designed & implemented a new Agile Mobile Policing model for 2000+ police
officers in both the front line and specialist investigations environment
o Designed & implemented a cost effective 3G/4G connectivity data bucket
solution for mobile devices
o Managed the implementation of 4000+ Windows 7 Laptops to Wiltshire
council paving the way for a very successful home working solution
o Managed the introduction, testing and training of digital signature pads to
save, time, fuel, paper and resources
o Shared innovation and ideas through the Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire
Police collaboration to introduce mobile technology and new ways of working
with Wiltshire Council Social Care
o Project managed the successful implementation of O365 Cloud Computing to
4000+ users
o Managed the migration of 5 email systems into one MS Exchange
environment
o Managed and delivered SAP data migration from 5 district Councils into one
unitary organisation
o Implementation of an email solution using MS Active Sync to 4000+ users
o Through the transformation of Wiltshire Council estates I worked as part of
the project team to reduce paper printing
These projects paved the way, sometimes being the first of their kind within the public sector
with many local authorities embarking on similar projects after visiting Wiltshire. I also
worked closely with a “Systems Thinking” team to evaluate current processes to achieve
efficiencies through technology and changing the way people work.
I am comfortable working and communicating with stakeholders at all levels tailoring my
approach where required. In previous roles this has included the Leader of Wiltshire Council,
local Councillors, Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police and officers of Director level through to
frontline staff.
