Q: Is the final elicit about a:tude or understanding or both?
A: I would say both! Finding out where your client is with either a:tude of understanding of your
advice/informa1on will be helpful to you both.
Q: What if someone says ‘no’ they don’t want your advice/informa1on?
A: Comment on it, reflect, empathise, “that’s not something you want to talk about”, or “talking
about this is difficult”, or “you’d rather talk about something else, what is that?”
