Personal statement
I am well-experienced network and leakage technician with 15 years experience in the
industry.
I am a punctual person with an excellent attendance record, polite and always well presented,
conscious of promoting the company image by, for example, always wearing uniform and
maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle. I am used to dealing with customers and staff members
and regard myself as a hard worker always trying to deliver work of the highest standard.
I have achieved my LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA in WATER ENGINEERING (WATER SUPPLY)
this involved having clear knowledge of Water Regs, Leak Detection, GSS Regulation, Valve
Operations, Water Mains Cleaning , Sampling and Testing ,Disinfection and Metering and
Logging.

I was also a GWC Performance technician. My duties were to act as a contact between leakage
technicians and management of the main Contractor and to ensure the upkeep of the technician’s
vehicles and uniform. In addition I was responsible for:
• The time keeping of technicians on a daily basis
• Ensuring sickness procedure is adhered to, authorising annual leave.
• Undertaking vehicle audits
• Ensuring equipment is in good working order e.g. making sure of correct
calibration
• Ordering and distributing equipment and uniform
• Ensuring all necessary paper work is completed and presented in a timely
manner
• To read data and information and target areas and work accordingly
