Job Summary:
Develops policies and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment,
compensation, benefits, employee relations, immigration, training & employee development and
employee services as well as office administration by performing the following duties either
personally or through subordinate supervisors; acts as the cultural ambassador for the Firm by
implementing policies and procedures that reflect the progressive direction and vision of the
President/CEO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the full benefit package offered to all employees across all divisions.
Provides direction and guidance to the Recruiting Supervisor in all aspects of recruiting
and hiring.
Provides direction and guidance in areas such as strategic planning, change
management, policy and procedure development, employment practices, training and
employee development, performance management, and all other personnel related
functions throughout the Firm.
Writes directives advising senior management, management and all other members of
the Firm on compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure that policies and procedures comply with federal and state law.
Develops and maintains a HRIS that meets the needs of the firm and complies with legal
requirements.
Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or
local governing bodies or other departments within the organization.
2. Directs and provides leadership to all members of the Human Resources department as
well as the Office Administration group.
Provides guidance and direction to all managers and supervisors as well as staff in
dealing with any and all employee relations issues.
Assist the CEO as needed.
Understand thoroughly the firm’s brand and aspirations, including our differentiation as a
certified B Corp, what it means and how it translates to all audiences of the firm -
ensuring all direct reports are attuned to the innovative, forward-looking strategic vision
and value driven efforts of the firm.
Ensure proper, consistent and effective implementation of brand aligned standards
across all firm touch points, including social and environmental impacts and how
behaviors align with our policies.
Understand thoroughly all client service and value-add offerings and how these align
with firm’s corporate citizenship goals and strategies.
SupervisoryResponsibilities:
Sr. Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the assigned
staff; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and
applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and development,
planning, assigning, directing work, and appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining
employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems; also responsible for terminating
employees with unsatisfactory performance.
Manages the following staff:
HR Manager (who has one subordinate), Training & Development Manager (who has
one subordinate) and the Recruiting Supervisor
Four non-supervisory employees

improve supervisory skills.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read and understand general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write policies and procedures,
business correspondence, and personnel related reports.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers and staff.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Required computer skills: working knowledge in database software, HRIS, internet
software, payroll systems, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to learn new systems as required.

Master’s degree from a certified university or equivalent; or ten or more years of related
experience or a combination of education and experience.
SPHR or PHR preferred.
4. Work Environment:
Work is performed in a business office environment with exposure to general office environment
noise from others within the office. Local travel to our subsidiary office is required on occasion.
Work beyond standard business hours may be required to complete work and meet deadlines.
