 Lead Engineer - Transmission Restructuring Project for Acquired Wolver Hampton facility UK
 Liaison in US for a 40 member team in India working on the transformation Project.
 Lead Engineer in US for Gear data conversion to CLASH for Lower Power Train division.
 Lead in setting up a data mining team in off shore (Agencies) for a large transformation project.
Job roles & Responsibilities
 Lead a team for restructuring of Transmission for an acquired facility in Wolver Hampton
 Daily meetings with Lead engineer onsite for clearing up the design issue, Collaboration with
the actualassembly line to clear the Assembly issues.
 Responsible in getting the correct CAT standards in the restructured Transmissions
 Clear up technical issues with constant meet up with engineers and line engineers as a
part of liaison activity and have the project moving with no stoppage of work.
 Maintain Clean up data and project hours for Billing and other purposes.
 Trainer for Manual to CLASH conversion in PRO-E with Clash data
 Technical expert for query clearance in CLASH related activities
Designation: Associate Engineer (May 2007 to 2010)
 Lead Engineer for whole of 2010
 Worked in Modeling & Detailing Team from Mar 2008 to Dec 2009.
 Checker for TBU-India team from May 2007 to Feb 2008, worked with TBU team checking by
supporting the casting modeling detailing done by the team
Job roles & Responsibilities
 Lead Engineering role supporting Torque converter and OEM
 Interact with the Process partners to get information required for completion of the Job in
daily basis.
 Manage work flow and get the work done on time
 Responsible in first level quality for the team
 Technical skills coaching for the team in modeling and detailing
 Team Trainer for HVC,Team Center, IE Specs and drawing related activities
 Lead green belt in improving quality for TBU
 Checker for Transmission Business Unit Drawings and responsible for quality from 2007 to
2008
 Lead a 25-member offsite team for 15 days to finish Tech data collection of 10,000
components, high priority and quick turnaround project for product development global tech
team
 CAPT to Pro-E conversion project of planetary groups which includes modeling of part to
assembly as per assembly procedure for Wheel loader (March 2009)
 Lead Inch to metric conversion project for creating from CAPT to Pro-E drawings
 Green belt role in a hybrid 6 sigma project on creating modeling procedures for complex
casting and forging
Special Assignments
Reverse Engineering of 2 Variators
 Project includes inward of Variators shipped from US,
 Planning for modelling and detailing with Cloud points
 Team selection with specific requirements on cloud point conversion.
 Selection of specific tools and fixtures for disassembly
 Disassembling of the Variators with documentation of Assembly procedure.
 Request Quotes and selection for Wire cutting of the outer casting and few parts
 3D Scanning and CMM of the casting with collaboration with CIPL in downtime hours.
 Project completed with less than the estimated figures and also with desired output.
 SAP process for Purchase orders,goods inward and outward self-done.
Setting up Engine and Transmission training facility
 Active role in setting up of transmission training facility in Engineering Design Center-India
 Interacted with dealers, negotiated rates for the purchase of a hydraulic crane and a Lift table
to set up our own turner transmission training facility in EDC-I
Additional Responsibilities:
 Trained in SAP Purchase order process and supported the DSBU-India regional support team
in their purchases related to setting up an engine Lab for Purchase Orders,Goods inward &
service request and also supported in their payment follow ups.
