4. How to do a Warm-Up?
There are many ways to do a proper warm up.
Warm ups usually consist of stretching.
Usually involves jogging or doing jumps to get the heart
pumping.
Don’t do to intensive exercises too soon.
Warm-Ups usually lasts for 5-7 minutes.
5. What are ‘Contraindicative
Stretches’ ?
They are ineffective stretches.
They either do not do a good job stretching muscles or
have potential to do harm.
Examples : Straight-leg sit ups, Reverse curls with
ankle, full head circles.
