So the first element of our implementation in Hyperjaya is ‘Green Buildings’.Many of the buildings in Hyperjaya would run on more eco-friendly terms of energy. These include things like solar power panels and systems that direct natural light into the buildings. (Ambience tibular sunlight)As a result, the electricity generated on site would allow these green buildings to be more independent.Other than the ability to produce a more eco-friendly use of energy, these green buildings include new features, such as elevated parks and vegetable or fruit planting areas to promote a more green living.Design wise, the green buildings features in Hyperjaya have a maximised daylight panorama, increasing human relation to our environment.
Regarding security in Hyperjaya, its location by the coast would result in weakened security management if not properly taken care of. With this in mind, coast guards will have to patrol the surrounding perimeter at a routine schedule. To prevent rise in crime, CCTV monitoring cameras will be installed rhythmically throughout the cityscape, enabling constant supervision by the state’s security control team.Citizens will also be introduced to a new, high-tech kind of cyber security – Face & Retina recognition. Scattered between the precincts, these cyber security systems enable trespassers and unwanted guests from entering areas for authorized personnel only.As Hyperjaya is a large area, the amount of traffic intake and outtake is expected to be relatively high. With this in mind, screenings will occur both leaving and entering the area to weed out any suspicious vehicles.
Next, the transportation of people in the city. As a mega metropolitan, Hyperjaya will have efficient and well-planned transportation systems. Mass public transport is implemented in the city, which includes networks of bus routes, metro lines, and bullet trains. Solar powered amphibious hovercrafts can do the job of transporting people as well.Vehicles in Hyperjaya are solar-powered, which means that there will be less co2 emission. That leads to a more healthy, less polluted environment for Hyperjaya citizens.Bike sharing systems will be applied throughout every corner of the city, where people can rent bicycles for free.To cater more cyclists, hundreds of kilometres of biking trails will connect areas between green spaces, commercial and residential sectors in the city. From supermarkets to commercial buildings, apartments to gardens. Citizens of Hyperjaya can cycle everywhere!People can also call smart taxis whenever needed. Just by clicking on an app in a smartphone, the system will use GPS to detect your exact location in the city and send a taxi to you ASAP.Bridges that connect between buildings will be built to allow better excess. This decreases the amount of time required for people to move btwn buildings. There are carpooling stations in Hyperjaya, where citizens can hitchhike on another person’s car that heads to the same destination. As a mega metropolitan, a massive international airport will be built at the north-western side of the city, which is capable of handling millions and millions of visitors every year.
For a complicated city like Hyperjaya, a suitable yet sustainable energy management system is important. In this context, smart electricity grids will be installed throughout the city. These grids can adjust incoming current supply according to the current electricity usage, decreasing possible wastage of electricity. This feature is also supported by smart urban lighting. Street lamps located in the city will adjust its clarity according to the density of population in a particular area. Next, power generation by wind and water will be largely applied. As Hyperjaya is surrounded by the Malacca Strait, the seawater can be utilised to generate electricity using turbines. Same goes to wind energy as sea breeze and land breeze are a good source of moving wind for power generation.
Another main feature of this city will be the solar panel roadways. These super strong panels will replace the roles or tarmac and asphalt. They do not just generate electricity during the day, but they will be equipped with LEDs that can light up into anything required. (Warning signs, road lines etc)
When disaster strikes, a large city needs a sophisticated system for evacuation, as you don’t want the public to go out of control during a crisis. In order to achieve this objective, specialised emergency escapes routes will be built into every building in the city. These routes will lead to underground pathways connected to a disaster relief centre. This way people can be evacuated more efficiently especially in high-rise buildings. Food, clothing and other basic necessities can also be transported to the relief centres through these routes.
In addition, disaster sirens will not just be broadcasted through speakers in public areas, but also through mobile phones, utilizing teenagers’ attachment to technology.
Besides that, Hyperjaya will be equipted with sophisticated weather broadcasting systems that can detect the arrival of natural disasters in a considerable amount of time. Lastly, an underground pipe system that channels excess rainwater to the sea is also vital to the city, due to Malaysia being a fairly rainy country.
As a city surrounded by the Straits of Malacca, Hyperjaya has many seawater treatment systems, which processes seawater into drinkable fresh water for its residents.Hyperjaya is also located near the equator, which meant that there will be high amounts of rainfall every year. Hence, there are multiple rainwater collecting and filtering systems which filters rainwater to produce drinking water.Waste water treatment systems such as sewers are regularly maintained and repaired. Waste water are also recycled for industrial uses.Just in case that there’s a water shortage, the city will apply the technology of producing water from air, which solves the water crisis.Garbage trucks with sensors that detects which bins to collect in the residential area. Decrease amounts of unnecessary journeys.…Recycling centres encourage recycling…… biomass
